Note:
Querubim LAPA from Portugal did some large murals for a bank in Lourenço Marques (later Maputo) - Banco Nacional Ultramarino (?) - and for the then ground floor offices of the Portuguese Air Carrier TAP in Loveday Street near the City Hall, Johannesburg, during the early 60s - the above panel originates from this period (when TAP left their offices, these were converted into an Indian food store; for years, the mural could be seen at the back of their counter!)
